Jo J. Barker has been writing horror fiction, to the exclusion of all other genres, for the past three years, having published several short stories and one full length novel "Still Life." In the past he has written several (non-horror) works for for the stage ("Lucy Mouse", "Loops", "See You Next Year", "Diving") and worked as a professional actor ("Hamlet - title role", "Skylight - Edward", "Distant Lights from Dark Places - Toohey"), singer and dancer.
The simultaneous release of two short films "The Inning of Denton Franks," and "Removal," mark his entry into film and a welcome departure from the horror genre.
Jo is currently working on a second novel, several short stories and screenplays. Australian-born, he now lives and works in Oakland, California.
